"Proper Hygiene"Proper hygiene is essential for the young. Their milk teeth are likely to fall out and they must know how to prevent this happening to their adult teeth. Along with brushing technique, we also teach them how to wash their hands properly before eating, after using the toilet or after handling animals . Some other lessons we discuss for the children are the importance of hair care and avoidance of nail biting.
Nurses Duties:
Receiving child's medicine from the family (mother) and give it to the child on the prescribed time.
Apply first aid in case of any emergency and inform the family.
Frequently check up of all children in seasonal diseases like: flu, upper respiratory tract infection, common cold.
Follow up doctor check up.
Follow up vaccination with the family for the infants.
Health education for all the families by sending reports about nutrition, hygiene etc.
Observe breakfast and lunch meals of all children.
Check up of safety procedures and the whole environment of the nursery (beds, stairs, door, toys etc.)
